Falling For YA

Took me forever but I finally finished it. I wanted to put this book down so many times just because I did not really like any of the characters and everything just kept dragging on and on. But I am not quitter and finally finished the beast.

I guess the ending for me gave it that second star, I felt like Bacigalupi summed up the book well in the epilogue and it had a closed feeling for me. If there is to be a sequel I for one would not pick it up. This was just not my kind of book, I tried something different and it just cemented the fact that I should keep choosing what I like.
